This year’s EnergyWeek set multiple new records, attracting more than 11,000 visitors from 50 countries across its various events.

The scale of the event was reflected in the numbers, with over 200 exhibitors, more than 250 speakers, 41 seminars and 824 matchmaking meetings, in addition to extensive networking throughout the week.

Kristoffer Jansson, Communications & Brand Manager at EnergyVaasa, expressed strong satisfaction with both the arrangements and the turnout.

He notes that the changes implemented after last year’s EnergyWeek, including the use of the Ritz venue for seminars and a reorganization of the cloakroom functions, made it possible for the event to grow. He also highlights the celebration of Vaasa Green Leaf 2026 as a particularly memorable part of the programme, along with the new initiative EnergyWeek NextGen. The initiative proved highly successful and helped the event reach even pre- and primary school students.

EnergyWeek is organized in collaboration with more than 40 companies and organizations within the EnergyVaasa cluster. Over time, the event has established itself as one of the most important meeting platforms for the energy sector in the Nordic region.

The main coordinator of the event is EnergyVaasa in cooperation with VASEK, the Vaasa Region Development Company.
